Thursdays, 9:30-12PM, August 15th - October 3rd | Glaze Week: October 6-12th, 2024

This conceptual course focuses on idea development, critique, and research. Students are expected to attend all seven classes, complete work outside of class, and come to each class prepared. Class time will be spent predominantly outside of the CCC, and no amount of time will be devoted to wet work or demonstrations– students are expected to complete their own work OUTSIDE of class hours. Students should come to class on time, prepared, and motivated to participate and discuss. Objective: To strengthen idea/concept development and critique skills, receive peer and instructor feedback, develop and complete project ideas, and gain ceramic and art history knowledge.
