This hands-on course is designed to introduce you to the intricate realm of ceramic glazing. Whether you're new to pottery or looking to expand your skills, this class will guide you through the essential techniques and inspire your creative journey with glazes. What You’ll Learn: - Basics of Glazing: Gain an understanding of glaze components and how they transform during the firing process. - Application Techniques: Explore various methods such as dipping, brushing and pouring to apply glazes to your pieces. - Glaze Testing and Combinations: Experiment with layering and combining different glazes to achieve unique effects and finishes. - Surface Decoration: Discover techniques to enhance your work with decorative elements and special effects.
