Whether you’ve been trying to get your hands on clay for years, want to test the waters before committing to a several-week class, or just crave an afternoon/evening out of the house, these 3-hour adult workshops are perfect for learning the basics and opening your eyes to the possibilities of clay. You will walk out with a better awareness of the processes and craftsmanship that goes into ceramics.

Introduction to Wheel Throwing will cover centering, opening, pulling, and finishing your clay piece on the potter’s wheel. Introduction to Handbuilding will cover making objects through pinching, coiling, and/or slab construct. After the workshop, CCC will clear glaze any creations made to keep. All works will be ready for pickup two weeks after the workshop.
