Carbondale Clay Center is a non-profit community arts center that exists to enrich lives through the ceramic arts. We are funded by earned revenue and through the generosity of individuals, foundations, and government grants. Carbondale Clay Center thrives because of you. MAKER MEMBERSHIP: $350/ year
Carbondale Clay Center (CCC) offers the Makers Membership specifically for local clay artists, an offering that acknowledges the important role that local potters play in our community. This membership is ideal for any clay artist who has their own studio set up or is thinking about setting up a studio. Through the Makers Membership, CCC offers technical, firing, material, and creative support.
Benefits include:
20% off clay purchases
Order Continental Clay products through CCC to be freight delivered
3 hrs PER MONTH of limited studio access during membership year. If you consistently need more time in the studio, please consider a shelf rental. Additional fees will occur by the hour for any overage.
Ability to bisque and glaze fire your work. Firing Fees not included in Membership.
Bisque firings to cone 06 occur approximately every week and glaze firings to cone 10 reduction occur approximately every two weeks. Firings are dependent on filling the kiln. The more work we have to fire the more often firings happen.
