Thoughtful Making
Must have taken one clay class prior to enrollment
This intermediate level class will offer students an opportunity to advance their existing skills to more effectively produce desired work. By examining individual aesthetics, technical abilities, and creative processes students will gain the ability to approach their work with intention resulting in more control over their final products.

Clay for Beginners                                                            
Learn the basics of handbuilding and wheel throwing.  All levels welcome.
Instructor: Kaitlyn Getz

Intermediate Throwing emphasis on Glazes
Must have taken one clay class prior to enrollment
This class will explore new ways to make pottery and the variety of possibilities of how to glaze them. 
Intermediate- Advanced levels.

To Enroll

Pre-registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A student will only be registered for a class upon receipt of tuition payment in full.

Adult class tuition covers instruction during scheduled class meeting times, use of the studio, your firing fees and one bag of clay. Additional clay is available and costs $25 per 25 lb. bag. 

Refund/Cancellation Policy

To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify the CCC at least 7 days before the start date of your class. We will refund your payment minus a $35 cancellation fee.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the the start date of the class.
In the event that the Clay Center is forced to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued. 

Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Work Exchange

Financial aid, scholarships, and work exchange are available to help students cover the costs of classes or workshops. Work exchange is scheduled outside of class time, and is given at the rate of $10 per hour. 

The Clay Center welcomes contributions from the community to support scholarships and financial aid.
