An Evening for CCC @ Restaurant six89

Save the Date

Carbondale Clay Center's summer benefit dinner, Salt, will be held at Restaurant six89 on Monday, August 18th 2008. Guests are invited to enjoy appetizers & cocktails at 6p followed by a sit-down dinner @ 7.30p. This year’s theme is inspired by the book, Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky, as well as the mineral’s many applications in ceramic firing techniques and in the culinary world.

Tabletops will feature one-of-a-kind salt & pepper shakers created by artists from across the country, available for purchase via silent auction. Salt will feature the work of many artists, including Ginny Beesley, Doug Casebeer, Elizabeth Coleman, Diana Cronin, Kate Fisher, Sandie Gardner, Donie Hubbard, Frank McGuirk, Kelly McKibben, Lorna Meaden, Connie Norman, Helen Osterman, Benjamin Stout, and Paige Wright. Ticket proceeds & sales of artwork support CCC's year-round ceramic art programming.

For reservations, please call the CCC office 970.963.2529. Individual reservations $125 through Wednesday, August 13th; $145 thereafter. A portion of your contribution is tax-deductible. For information on reserving a full table seating, please contact CCC Director, Lauren Kearns.

The Carbondale Clay Center is now accepting online donations through PayPal. Make a donation of $40 and receive your very own CCC apron, hot off the press. You will receive a newsletter twice a year and receive monthly notices, via email, of events and activities.
