Form and Function   
Intermediate to Advanced students
This Clay Center class will be a romp through forms, altered-forms and glaze treatments for wheel thrown and handbuilt work. This class will begin with an assigned form/piece and through 8 weeks of individual coaching and discussion, progress towards achieving at least a dozen pieces.

Molds and Making                                                            
"Molds and Making" will explore the vastness of molds.  From plaster to bisque, custom made or found, used for reproduction or decoration, on the wheel or in hand-building.  This class will cover all things molds, and how you can use them to enhance your knowledge and practice in clay! 
All levels welcome.

Pushing the Form
Must have taken a clay class prior to enrollment    Explore the possibilities of shape and volume through the wheel or handbuilt objects.

To Enroll

Pre-registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A student will only be registered for a class upon receipt of tuition payment in full.

Adult class tuition covers instruction during scheduled class meeting times, use of the studio, your firing fees and one bag of clay. Additional clay is available and costs $25 per 25 lb. bag. 

Refund/Cancellation Policy

To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify the CCC at least 7 days before the start date of your class. We will refund your payment minus a $35 cancellation fee.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the the start date of the class.
In the event that the Clay Center is forced to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued. 

Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Work Exchange

Financial aid, scholarships, and work exchange are available to help students cover the costs of classes or workshops. Work exchange is scheduled outside of class time, and is given at the rate of $10 per hour. 

The Clay Center welcomes contributions from the community to support scholarships and financial aid.
