Celebrating 20 years of ceramic arts in Carbondale
On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, the CCC will be hosting dinner for 200 at “SETTINGS - The Carbondale Clay Center’s 20th Anniversary Fete” from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Twenty ceramic artists have created dinner plates specifically for this event, each one a work of art. Each guest will receive the dish at their place setting as a gift. The retail value of each plate ranges from $60 to $250, or more.
Settings will feature live music by Pearl & Wood, delicious appetizers and dinner prepared by renowned chef Mark Fields of Field2Fork, with paired wines provided by Rhumba Girl Liquors. Fresh ingredients for appetizers and dinner graciously provided by Sustainable Settings. At the bar, enjoy a variety of signature cocktails by Marble Distillery and Suerte Tequila, as well as ice cold craft beer on tap thanks to the Roaring Fork Beer Co. Sculptor James Surls will speak on the vibrant history of the CCC and thanks will be given to the people who have made the clay center the creative haven it is today. There will be a fabulous silent auction featuring priceless works of ceramic art and a visual history of the center on display in our gallery.
Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased from any Clay Center Board member, by calling the CCC offices or online @ Eventbrite.

CCC's Largest Fundraiser of the Year
For 20 years, adults and children have experienced the tactile joy of ceramic art through studio classes, school & community outreach and inclusive events. The CCC has hosted over 40 ceramic artists through our Artist in Residency Program. Each First Friday we host a gallery reception, inviting the public in to be inspired and intrigued. Thousands of works of art have been fired in our kilns. It has been a rich and inspiring journey into the current position of a cornerstone of the ceramic arts community and greatly helping to make Carbondale a Colorado Creative District. If you would like to sponsor the event, we would love to hear from you. Information regarding sponsorship levels for Settings is available here.
The Carbondale Clay Center would like to thank our SETTINGS sponsors for their support and ask you, the community, to thank them with your business!
